Balochi embroidery is a type of hand-embroidery by needle and thread and its traditional motifs are arrows, chicken feet, diamonds, flowers and so on.
Balochi embroidery is a heritage art recognized by UNESCO, and it dates back to more than 2500 years ago.
It is called Balochi as it’s common among the Baloch ethnic group that lives in Balochistan region, which is split among Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. This Ethnic group is very talented and skilled in different types of embroideries.
